| ACIES or how to successfully combine rapid growth with excellence |
 |
 |
In 2004, ACIES won the French Quality Award and
confirmed its determination to position itself within the next
5 years as a leader in the field of Research Promotion and Management
Consulting. In fact, many economic studies show that the satisfaction
level of customers, employees and partners decreases when a company
grows rapidly. With an annual growth of its revenues of almost 30%
on average over the last 6 years, a fourfold increase in
the number of employees in the last 7 years, and continuously increasing
customer satisfaction levels, ACIES proves that a steady growth
in business is in no way the enemy of excellence.

 |
| Our key success factors |
 |
 |
ACIES was founded upon the convictions of its two partners. Patrick DUVARRY and Franck DEBAUGE share the belief that long-term success is only possible if supported by a new attitude and new organisational methods. |
| |
Initiative and creativity
ACIES has created a culture of continuous improvement that supports the dynamics of change. The initiative and creativity of ACIES staff are always encouraged in various situations such as conducting and managing new projects, developing new services offers, launching cross-disciplinary projects (e.g. the restructuring of the company’s information system), or improving a process. By embracing continuous reinvention as its cornerstone philosophy, ACIES proves its determination to change mindsets.
The methods make the difference
The strength of ACIES’ management system is to combine, in one system, process-based and project-based approaches. This constitutes therefore a veritable feedback loop accelerating change. This management system allows opening up skills and knowledge and therefore maximising team efforts while making sure that the actions undertaken are in line with the strategy.

| A common vision shared by all |
 |
 |
ACIES strongly believes that the Company and its stakeholders (customers, partners, employees and society) are tightly linked together to ensure long-term growth.
The customer is at the heart of the strategy
Several actions are systematically taken to collect information on customers’ explicit or latent needs: customer satisfaction surveys, strategic intelligence, customer database, Strategic Market Analysis.
In parallel, ACIES also performs lobbying activities at tax/regulation level towards professional authorities/bodies to best protect the interests of its customers. Finally, ACIES regularly invites its customers to workshops to work together on the development of innovative projects and new services offers.
Partners (external partnerships)
ACIES is well aware of the importance of developing partnership relationships with its suppliers. ACIES involves strategic partners with high-level specialised skills and who can help it in its journey towards excellence.
Strategic partners share real-time information. They attend seminars or external evaluations; are involved in the company’s projects; are integrated into the organisation in the same way as any other new employee.
A talented staff
ACIES makes sure that it has the finest talents willing to share the same management principles: “Sharing convictions, cultivating simplicity, keeping a sense of realities, and aiming at excellence”. Shared and applied daily by all, these principles contribute to the creation of a system-based organisation, new state of mind and new innovative organisational methodologies.
Fuelled by common values such as “Rigor – Responsibility – Self-confidence and confidence in others – Good humour”, the women and men working at ACIES are convinced that in the field of change and improvement, everything is possible.
Our contribution to Society
ACIES takes active part in professional organisations such as the MEDEF to perpetuate the Research Tax Credit and increase its efficiency. In this regard, ACIES is regularly approached to bring its expertise to improve the economic context of Research and Innovation.
ACIES also participates in collective actions with Quality organisations, such as CNQP*, MQRA**, and with SME-SMIs on varied subjects such as the learning organisation, the Business Model of service companies, etc.
ACIES is also involved in research projects which have a strong impact on Society: impact on health, on the quality of life, on employment, etc. For example, ACIES prepared and submitted the TREAT-NMD research project (6th FPRTD) which aims at accelerating treatments for neuromuscular diseases.
